|What Everton manager Marco Silva is still waiting for from Oumar Niasse
| sbo333 Marco Silva has yet to experience what has become a rite of passage for Everton managers of late: an Oumar Niasse moment. Because for all the Blues' last three bosses, both permanent and caretaker, the Senegalese striker has delivered at crucial times. Recent history says Silva is due one but it's unclear if it'll come. For Ronald Koeman, Niasse was brought in from the cold, and off the bench, to score twice against Bournemouth at Goodison, last September. They were goals that looked like saving the Dutchman's bacon, but merely offered him a stay of execution.
Koeman was sacked the following month and replaced, temporarily, by David Unsworth who hopes of landing the job permanently were helped by Niasse's man-of-the-match display at Crystal Palace and him kicking off a remarkable comeback against Watford. Until Cenk Tosun was up to speed, Sam Allardyce considered Niasse the squad's best striker and was thankful for his equaliser, off the bench, on a grim afternoon against West Brom sbo333 and his goal in an important win at home to Palace.
A goal on the final day of the season at sbo333 West Ham couldn't save Big Sam, however. And so what about Silva's own Niasse moment?. There hasn't been one yet, the striker has played less than 50 minutes of Premier League football this season and has been left out of the last three matchday squads for games with Arsenal, Fulham and Leicester City.
